TOPIC: 2027 Participation and Volunteer Tokens Round 3 <= Last Chance for Feedback!

Thank you for your help with nailing these down. This is your last chance to find an error or other issue. The Relics shown next to each group is the Relic a person can make will all the shown Participation tokens. I think the only big change was the reworking of the VTD Relic.

Surprised to see the Stat Bump completion token changed to an Ioun Stone over the Saves one, as I felt the Stat bump was new to the Charm Slot, but changing one of them to an Ioun Stone over a charm is a good step in the right direction.

The new Ioun Stone could be flavored as a reference to the Shining Trapezohedron, which is also a madness inducing rock of an unknown shape. Dodecagon?

The standard Blood Cultist tokens come with a Reflex penalty, but the Blood Cultist Bracelets affect Fortitude saves.

Personally I like this current iteration especially the Ioun stone.

Not a fan of the changed VTD Relic, I'd much rather have had it as the Charm with pick a +4. I think I would have been able to find a spot in every build for it. Not so much with the IS that has a drawback.

Personally I like it being an ioun stone given how many beads and charms we have as special relics the last few years, and one of the 2027 legendary transmute paths is also a charm.

I really would like to see it stay a ioun stone since it is less crowded.

The thing about it being a charm instead of an Ioun Stone would have been that it would have been rather unique in the charm slot, but less so as an Ioun Stone.

I think it’s about as unique in either spot. Really outside of Volunteer tokens like the charm and ioun stone of champions choice there really isn’t a lot of this stuff. I will give you that stat bump tokens are more common at ioun stone but most of the old ones are falling off people builds.

I think this is probably long overdue, but just flagging that Grand Warden Bracers is a rare which is strictly better than UR +2 Braces of Defense and UR +2 Mithral Bracers, and better than UR +2 Celestial Bracers when not used as part of the Celestial Set.

I think this is a fine power level for a rare bracer going forward.

Speaking of the Celestial Set - maybe these could be Warden Cosmic Bracers and also be part of the Cosmic set. That would allow Wizards and Monks to achieve the Cosmic Set Bonus.

I think the Grave Cultist Gloves could use a boost.

The seem to be working their way up from Uncommon Gloves of the Dark Gnome instead of sideways from Gauntlets of Orge Power.

I think +2 CON with no drawback is fine for these. I think they could even get a little nudge higher given they are a completion token.

I like the retheme and creativity of these a lot.
