TOPIC: 2027 Treasure Token Notes Round 8 <= Time Span Overhaul

Due to your feedback we have decided to space these multi-year tokens out a bit. I have updated the graphic and FAQ to reflect these changes. Thanks for your help in getting these future tokens set up for some great use later on.

In honor of Mardi Gras season, I vote the Mask of Easy Boon be renamed Mask of Good Times and have a Mardi Gras theme. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Still uncertain about the stats on the 8k Patron Codex, I see they expire now does that mean in 2030 they no longer have +2 or that they just can't be transmuted anymore? I much rather if we're going to add something to the individual pieces that when they are combined they also have that effect. So maybe bump the Codex down to +1 and let the final product also grant +1 to all stats.

I have a few small suggestions:

A. The Homunculus will be the only way (plus having another +1 level effect) to play 6th level characters. The “only way” might change after 2030,
but we are not planning for it.

I recommend this path to 6th:

2029: Homunculus
2030: 5 piece Arcanum set
2031+ TBD

Wow. Awesome. I still suggest changing the name of the token to “Improved Familiar” or “Greater Familiar” and using a word other than “Relic” to describe the power level.

These tokens have a 3-year useful life.

I don’t really have a dog in that hunt, but recommend against the expiration date.

Just a thought, but what about one of the 4 year transmute getting knocked down to a 2 year, then swapping to a 3 year or 4 year afterwards. Gives us something to look forward to sooner, and then stagger it out afterwards so not dumping a bunch of xmutes on one year. IMO the easiest would probably be th UR, and can just require 2 from each year, so still uses 4.

The fact that the printed text on the 8k tokens expire feels really weird and off, as we've never had expiring text on tokens before. I feel that kind of puts these in a rather strange middle ground, where they should be on one side or the other.

Jeff, thanks for spacing the transmutes out a bit, it is greatly appreciated! That should make the trade token crunch less severe.

Scott, I was thinking something similar but more along the lines of a 2032 6 piece Arcanum Set bonus or maybe 2033 7 piece Arcanum Set Bonus being playing 6th level.
