TOPIC: General question on interaction between Goblet of Saintly Surge and Natasha's N

General question on interaction between Goblet of Saintly Surge and Natasha's N 1 day 1 hour ago #1

Does Goblet of Saintly Surge double the effect Natasha's Nightcap in coaching room? Asking so I know if I should get both as well as just so I know when I am coaching.
I could see this going either way.

I figure if the two don’t work together in coaching it would be because the coaching room doesn’t count as a room in the dungeon.

In the past the ruling has been you can only drink the potion from one receptacle. So you can't drink 1 potion from both a Goblet and a Nightcap simultaneously. Similarly for scrolls, they can only exist in one container.

However there are other tokens that buff healing potions. For example:

tokendb.com/token/drinking-hat/
tokendb.com/token/hireling-baker/
These might stack with Natasha's?

tokendb.com/token/earcuff-of-aset/
tokendb.com/token/master-drinkers-gloves/
As you said coaching might not be considered a "room".
Classes Played: Barbarian (75 times), Monk (64), Rogue (39), Ranger (37), Cleric (22), Fighter (16), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (11), Bard (8), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

What is Natasha's Nightcap? I can't find the Token in tokendb. Is it a power or spell?

It's a 2027 UR.

Ah 2027. Thanks! And I would not consider Coaching a "room". But not sure if that's ever been clarified.

Part of the reason I am asking is this part of the database Q&A section

“Q3) How does this interact with other items that share healing potions (e.g. Flask of Sharing, Lotus Blossom Bowls).
A3) Only the character drinking the potion benefits from the Goblet of Saintly Surge.”

So it does sound like this item has some odd interaction in some ways.

I think the key question is whether or not the coaching room in a room.

I mostly posted here because of night cap being a 2027 token and wanting to be less confusing.

Currently I don’t have either token but depending on the interaction I could see the two tokens being very popular given 1 distilled healing could be converted to 20 hp before the run.

My guess as was said before this applies:

Then why can you share with the bowls something you are drinking and use the goblet on the same potion.

I think you may be right but it inconsistent if you are. I hope that we get an official answer on it well before preorders.
