TOPIC: Feedback GenCon 2026

I came in Friday for three runs. The 5 room dungeons weren’t nearly as substantial. Made it feel like I had too many spells (Cleric). Having 2 or 3 combats instead of 3 or 4 you can really tell the difference.

The rooms the design the cast the puzzles were all amazing. I don’t have any real complaints except below. The staff was helpful and nice and the GMs were fantastic.

Trent’s lounge was amazing. I’ve always griped that we needed a sit down area. Probably 5 room dungeons gave us that extra room lol.

The not so bad: time. With the fantastic acting and role playing of our friends in the dungeon it seemed to shorten our time in the room a bit. We lost to craven because we only got two rounds in. If we would’ve gotten the standard 3rd round we had him. He had acted, we were averaging 200 damage a round more than he had left. We just ran out of time so we lost a fight we should have won.

Summary: 5 rooms were bleh. Puzzles and cast and GMs were fan frigging tastic. Losing the final fight against the end of season boss due to time was heartbreaking.
