TOPIC: FINAL 2028 Transmuted Token Images (probably...)

A big thanks to the TD Community for their many great ideas, as well as their insightful feedback. Below are the final Transmutes for 2028...unless someone finds an error. There is no way that will happen!

Note: Page 11 of the Player's Handbook will soon be updated to state that a player may not equip duplicate Runestones -- just like all other tokens (except weapons). You can see more info on Runestones and Runestone Fitting Bases at the links below. Note that the text at links says duplicate Runestones can be equipped, but that is changing very soon.

I still think Bane Runestone should be dropped to a 3 star transmute since it is rare power level instead of something between rare and ultra rare like a 4 star transmute.

Every other legendary weapon has the name before the to-hit modifier, e.g. Io's +5 Dirk of Dancing.

Nok's: should this be "Monk & Ranger may re-slide 2 pucks"?

I'm confused here. Why does the Token DB entry say Rare / Ultra Rare and the Runestone Base say Rare? Are we saying that referencing Rare on a token counts as Rare and Ultra Rare? Lets not set that precedent. That will cause a WHOLE lot of backtrack and headaches.

For Nok's Figurine of Power, if the Druid uses it and selects a Monk or Ranger player. Can the monk or ranger reslide both pucks or is that only if a Monk or Ranger activates it?

Jeff,
Ray's adding +1 to combat stats is a little weird. If I put a runestone that gives +1 to healing, is that a combat stat if it happens in combat? I would suggest making it +1 to the runestone in Ray's, regardless of what that runestone does, or give +1 to damage.

Maybe just say +1 to Runestone effect.

Do you intend for the Bane runestone to affect spell damage or would it be better worded as affecting Melee and Missile damage instead of ranged?

Thanks Jeff.

1. +1 to numerical runestone effects

2. I would include fighter on the figurine and add a cool special effect for fighters

3. I love the pants, but hate the slot. Ending a lot of experienced players that Chase the VTD participation token have a strong pants slot. Maybe an Ioun Stone (please not a bead)

Maybe only make year long participation tokens is a slot with 4 easy to get slots available, basically ring, ioun stone, bead, or charm. This would make these tokens more appealing. Especially if a token basically slot locked like kilt of dungeonbane, or arcanum shirt.
