TOPIC: DASH - Puzzle hunt in several cities Sep 13

If you like puzzles and don't mind running around to find them here's an event that might be of interest:<br /><br /> playdash.org/ <br /><br />DASH stands for Different Area, Same Hunt.  Basically, the same puzzle hunt is being run in 8 different cities on the same day.  Boston, Washington DC, Houston, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.  <br /><br />The locations kind of suck for the middle of the country, since 5 of the 8 are west coast, and 2 are east coast, leaving only Houston in between (and Houston's really far south).  I heard about this from some folks who do the MIT hunt, but I've heard nothing local about this (for the TX location).  The puzzle hunt community is pretty huge and well-established in Seattle and San Francisco, but there's not much around here.  If you can make it to one of these locations, it should be a pretty cool event. <br />

Sounds like a lot of fun.  Too bad it's too far from where I live.  =|
