This is an off topic thread and no one has to read it if they dont want to.  If you are a supporter for the award then come up with something that actually warrants it and dont just ask that it go away.

I know it has a lot of people concerned but all those czar's don't bother me that much. It's probably because I always assumed that there would be crazy ideological spazzcases pulled in with any new administration as they pay off their supporters in bribes of nice cushy government jobs. Sure, some of the people are repugnant, like Jones and his belief that the US was behind 9/11, but for the most part I figure its an empty position, much like you would see local corrupt pols give to their mistresses. I usually don't start worrying about it until these nutjobs actually start coming out with policy.

<br /><br />The forum is either a politics free zone or it's not.  <br /><br />Pres. Obama didn't ask for the award, and he admitted he didn't deserve to be among some of those who have won in the past. 

Then again, he should have declined and coughed it up. Actions are fact. Words are just lies and bullshit. I would hope that if some 9th grader at a science fair got tapped for the nobel prize in physics for his paper mache volcano they would also decline the prize. Hell, their parents would probably have the sense to tell him/her to do so even if the kid's head was too swelled to actually come up with it him/herself.

<br /><br />in this day and age.. I doubt they'd decline.. I doubt it very much.<br /><br />but Brian is correct... either the forums are politics free, or each side should be able to post links to their various pundits, and talking heads showing how right their view clearly is.

Doesn't bother me any. I'm willing to debate just about anything. And if I don't already have a position on something, I'm more than happy to pick a side on the spot and defend it to the death. For instance, I'm #!%^ing sick to death of pirates.

I think Obama's a useless stuffed shirt, but he doesn't offend me nearly as much as his dumbass supporters claiming that anyone who doesn't the support the guy must be a closet racist. Obama is about as black as Oprah when it comes right down to it. Both of them have practically molded themselves to be palatable across racial lines, so much so the entire issue of racism seems so fringe as to be ridiculous. You want to see some racism, the dems should try nominating Shug Knight or something next go around.
