Is there anyone out there who has been involved in one of those zombie walks or has experience applying that sort of makeup who can drop me a line? I could use some help.

Depends on the help you want...<br />I'm not great with latex but the make-up is pretty straight forward, apply the dark stuff first (like the black circles around the eyes and any scar marks) then the base paint over, usually a green or gray-green and then any extras, like seeping wounds and the like.<br /><br />Your question wasn't too specific so hopefully this helps.

I was hoping someone could give me a walkthrough of the makeup, as well as all the fiddly things with gum and latex and whatnot.

Depending on when the walk is, you might be able to talk Brian or Dave (our makeup guys) to help you out.  You would want to bring the appliance parts, and it would need to be arranged during their downtime, but they may be a solution if you need the assistance.<br /><br />Dave

I dropped brian a line on FB yesterday after someone else pointed out he was Mr Makeup but no response yet. I've never applied makeup in my life and want to not end up looking like a mime if I can help it.

I know the feeling.<br /><br />I'm still looking for a makeup person if anyone out there wants to volunteer their expertise. I'm willing to pay for time/materials.<br /><br />Also: Anyone have a Ad&d player's handbook they no longer want? Preference is for 1st edition > 2nd > 3rd. It's going to get ripped up and trashed so condition is not a big deal but it'll die for a good cause.
