Hi guys,
I’m Skyler, new to this forum. I haven’t had the chance to play True Dungeon yet, but it’s been on my radar for a while. Thought I’d introduce myself with a random story that still feels a little adventurous.
A few months back, I went on what was supposed to be a simple day hike with a friend. About halfway in, the trail split in two. We didn’t have cell signal, and the map we printed out was annoyingly vague. We picked a path that looked right.
Well, an hour later, we realized we’d walked in a huge loop. We ended up back where we started, laughing like idiots, and another hiker finally pointed us the right way. It wasn’t dangerous or anything, just one of those moments where you realize how easy it is to get turned around when you’re focused on the quest instead of the details.
It reminded me of those tabletop nights where the party spends half the session debating over a locked door instead of actually opening it. Somehow, it’s those little detours that make the whole thing memorable.
Anyway, that’s me. Glad to be here, and looking forward to hearing your stories too.
