TOPIC: HBO Presents Baldur's Gate

A Baldur's Gate 3 TV show is officially happening at HBO. Craig Mazin of The Last of Us signed on as writer and showrunner. The TV series will serve as a direct sequel to Baldur's Gate 3 set immediately after the events. It aims to explore the fallout of the game's conclusion in the Forgotten Realms. The show will feature a mix of new protagonists and returning characters from the video game.

The show is expected to be released sometime in 2029.

How ever HBO's boss has said that with this show being put into production. It also ends the series "The Last of Us".in it's 3rd season to allow Craig Mazin to devote time to the new project.
