The body field jumps around. This makes it hard to copy, paste, type and generally do all the things one would want to do within a main text field.

I have been having similar problems but only on certain machines/web browser combinations. In those cases, I have typed in text editor and pasted in main window. Because I do not see it all the time and it seems to be isolated to specific machine/browser combinations, I assumed it was not the forum's setup, rather mine. Dave

It is rather unpredictable, I started thinking it was an IE8 thing. But it happens only sometimes. It might have to do with browser memory issues, or with server issues. So if you are posting when a bunch of other people are, it may be causing problems with the refresh. I will look into the boards for the boards and see if anyone has discussed the issue, we may need our provider to up the amount of memory. Dave

There seems to be an issue with the way IE8 renders things that affects text boxes. Here's a suggestion from the innerwebs - someone want to try this?

In that case, activate IE 8's Compatibility View by clicking the icon next to the address bar that looks like a broken piece of paper. This will force IE 8 to render the page like IE 7 does, which may fix this issue. IE 8 will then conveniently continue to turn on Compatibility View whenever you visit this domain.
