I use Firefox, and have way fewer problems than when I used IE.  And if henwy and I agree on something, you know it's good!

<br /><br />Just tried it with IE8 in compatibility mode and it seems to have fixed the problem. It only happened to me when there was a large amount of text in the box, such as when replying with a quote. Trying that as a test, I did not have the problem I had been having.

I agree.  I just tried it with a fairly large "insert quote" and had no issues with jumping and hiding what I was typing.
