TOPIC: Photo Gallery

I just took a look at the pictures that were posted from Indy. Very cool. I was just wondering one thing. When I click on where it says page 2 or page 3, it brings up nothing except the picture of the skeleton at the top of the page.

My educated guess is that they are not done with adding pictures to the site. When I gave Jeff the pictures, I gave him 60 to 75. Of course I could be wrong, but give it a few days and see what happens.

How do you like the presentation? Would you rather see them without the "old timey" photo effect, or do you like it matching all the other photos on the site?

Personally, I'd prefer without the "aged" effect. The border around the edge is cool, but the aging makes it harder to see details. This takes away a lot of the "magic" of things like the books in the magic shop. You also can't read any of the items on the bulletin board.

That's why it'd also be nice to be able to click on the photos to see a larger version, so you can really check out the details of everyone's hard work.

Just my humble opinion.

Edited to add: Are you also working on adding the pics Fritz took of volunteers at Indy? I'm waiting to see my hubby's handsome face on the website. His name isn't even there yet. (Actually, the whole volunteer section needs some updating, but I know website changes can be a pain in the behind.)

The aged effect is cool for most parts of the website. I just prefer clear pics for the photo gallery.
Or, you could show them with the aged effect, but if you click on the photo it takes you to a larger, clear version. That would be cool.

By the way, if whomever is putting them up sees this, you have a duplicate pic at the bottom of page two. The one of Brain Dugan wrapping stuff in black plastic.
