TOPIC: Activation e-mail and PMs

I registered as a user on this forum, but I never received an activation e-mail.  I've also sent two pms, but they don't show up in my outbox.  I'd appreciate any help with this.<br /><br />Kim Lindgren

About the registering, are you talking about when you registered in 2005 or did you try to re-register recently?  <br /><br />As for the outbox on PM's, you have to set that in your preferences in your profile.  There is a PM setting that does that.

As far as registering goes, when Doug was doing the testing for this site, I had to register when I came on to check it out.  Thanks for the info about the profile.  I can be pretty dumb when it comes to computers.<br /><br />Kim

No problem, it's a new setup and there is usually a learning curve.

The test site was totally different than this one. When it was decided to go with this forum program, all the registrations were carried over from the old one, not the test one.
