TOPIC: Comments about the site

Like the site, and I like the forum. I am a fan of phpBB, ever since the days of the Homestarrunner forum.

One comment, though... on the front page, the forum posts pop up on the left hand side, which is cool. However, it also posts things from your Admin Only section. So, it gives me something interesting to click on that I can actually look at.

Just a little comment. Otherwise, good show!

Were you able to read the contents of the message?

I will bring it to the admin's attention if he's not aware of it already...

Although you can see the subject text, only authorized users are able to see content of messages. So until I get it fixed, admin users be careful what you put in the subject line of your message.

Will take a bit to get use to the navigational changes.

Oh cool! No more "Barbie Doll" females to make me barf. Nice site change. How do I get it to fit my computer screen - I'm always having to use the arrows to see the rest?

The site is meant for 1024x768 resolution, so goto your desktop settings and change. The "Barbie Doll" females were removed because Jeff thought it made it look more like a video game...I thought it was a good idea and it took a lot of effort to produce, so I'm sad to see them go....but I understand where you're coming from.

<br />Well, it catched my attention that if you post a message it directly goes back to the topic index, without seeing if your message has been posted in the message board.

<br />Actually, this is something that can be changed in your user profile. If you click on the "Profile" link, and then go to the link to set your "Look and Layout Preferences", there is a button you can click to return to the topic when you post.
