TOPIC: Great times and great meeting everyone!

As many of you travel to your respective homes I thought I'd take a moment to jot a quick note.

First off, it was a great meeting everyone! Not only is TD an exciting event to participate in, but the entire crew was well, for lack of a better word, awesome. I had no idea what to expect when I signed up to volunteer, but needless to say all my excitement and expectations were surpassed. My only hope is that next year I am able to set aside a little more time to stay downtown so that I can have a beer … or two…, share a game and get to know many of you better.

Second, to Jeff, Lee, Tom, Lance, Jen, Warren, Vaughn, Dash and the numerous other creators, directors and original ’03 crew, thanks for letting me play in your world. I hope to do it again.

I’ll see you all next year! ... if not a little earlier… now to bed and a little California dreamin’…

Well I would certainly agree that this year's experience was amazing. As the event has grown we have had to increase our volunteer numbers. What started only a year ago as a group of 20 or so friends has quickly grown into two True events with almost a hundred volunteers. As all of you volunteers can attest, running an event like this is HARD but with good people it can be a load of fun. I for one was amazed with how the new volunteers came thru this year. Basically all of the new guys were strangers so we really didn't know what to expect. We already knew the old volunteers were crazy, but apparently there are many more equally crazy people out there lol. I think everyone knows how supportive Peter is of the event, and I think a big part of that is little things like walking into the ballroom at 3am on Saturday and finding 30 or so cheering volunteers. Dedication like that is what makes this event so successful. Thanks for hard work and I look forward to seeing you next time.
