While I wouldn't necessarily like to see the Amulet of Wonder get reprinted, I would be in favor of some other "of Wonder" tokens. These tokens would access the same yearly power as the Amulet, but would be limited somehow. Perhaps a Ring of Wonder that takes up one ring slot for the dungeon run, but has to be turned in at the beginning of the run for the "of Wonder" effect. Or a Wand of Wonder; it has three charges, and if it is used at the beginning of the run, it creates a temporary Amulet of Wonder on the target player (taking up the neck slot). The temporary AoW would disappear at the end of the run. The wand could be used multiple times (as long as it has the charges) at the beginning of the run, but each time it would have to target a different player. I imagine these would all have to rare or perhaps combo items.

I guess what I meant was tokens that will not be reprinted. Like retiring their jersey for good.

It makes a game much more collectible if some things are not going to be reprinted. It gives long time players the feeling that they are rewarded for long time play and loyalty. To draw a parallel it's like the black lotus and moxes not being reprinted.

If everything has a chance to be reprinted it cuts down on the idea of trying to guess what will be collectible down the road Nd buying them now. I guess part of the game for me has always been the collecting and planning.

I'd love to see a list even if it's small of tokens that Jeff says he pro ices to not reprint. I think it would help to make people say , I better grab this cool token before it gets on the gone for good list, it's really cool don't want to miss it.

Just my 2 cents

For Widseth's sake, I hope the Ruby Gem gets reprinted!

It's just nuke to have items retire to make everyone not have access to every thing. It seems like newer items are getting more powerful, retiring old stuff would be good to tip the hat to loyal collectors.

Since we've gotten the little lights, I've wondered what happens if a darkvision gets turned in.
Or a non-UR ? Special.
Anyone hear any stories of these tokens getting turned in in the past few years?

why can't they be reused?

unless I am mistaken (and I could very well be) Smoak not going to need them until 2012.. go through them and reuse them. if they are consumable anyways, they will be there when we need them. right

Is the wood "special" the same as the ultra rare? Like the elixir of life became ur but isn't different from the older rare? I assumed the old wood one is the same as the ur.

I believe TD is treating the old wooden Special Tokens like Rumor Tokens, they don't have the same effect as the Ultra-Rare Special.
