I believe there is no rule against it but the effects won't stack. So if you wear two rings of fire resistance you will get only the 50% fire reduction and not 75%. Anyone else can help me out here?

That is correct. Two of the same item (rings, Ioun Stones, and charms) do not stack. Also 50% [elemental] resistance from multiple sources does not stack. And though it has not been officially announced yet, the assumption is (based on both D & D rules an play balance) that the +3 Ring of Protection and +1 Ring of Protection will not stack.

Ravlis may be referring to the Ring of Riches. If that ability could stack.
Its been pretty clear in the past that when it comes to rings, same named items do not stack regardless of bonuses.

From page 9 of the latest token guide:
" Equipping your character with identical items (i.e. two identical things) is not allowed (e.g., two +1 Rings of Protection). There are some exceptions to the stacking rules, which are noted in the descriptions of the individual tokens."

So based on this, the +1 rings of protection UR and R would not be stackable, but the +2 and +1 Rings of protection are?

The Ring of Riches would stack with the Horn of Plenty, if that is what you are asking because they are two different types of magic. One takes the number of treasure stamps that you get and times it by three and the other simply gives you three extra pulls at the end of the run no matter how many treasure stamps that you get. But since this is as closely based on D&D as possible then two magics of the same time do not stake. Pluses to armor do because that is the way it works in D&D but a Ring of Protection +1 would not stake with a Ring of Protection +1 and if you had a Ring of Protection +2 then you would only get the better of the two rings. However, an Amulet of Armor +1 will stake with the Ring of Protection +1 or +2 because it is a deflection magic vs. a shield magic like the Ring. That is also how it works in D&D.

And just as a qualifier I'm 99.99% positive of this. =)

But here is where TD and D&D seperate. A perfect example is the Bracers of Defense +1 (an armor bonus) and the Cloak of the Mage +2 ( an armor bonus) - these should not be stackable based on D&D rules, in TD they are. Same concept for Robe of the Mage and the Cloak of the Mage - again armor bonuses that stack. The KISS method of TD where same named items are not stackable makes sense in that they do not want a 100+ page players handbook needed for a new player (let alone a new DM) to master to have fun in TD.

Very true Grey.

So the basic answer to your question is no you can't wear to Ring of Riches and get 6 extra pulls at the end of the run. Assuming you were referring to the Ring of Riches when you wrote "ror."
