Please use this thread for any and all bugs, comments, etc. related to the spreadsheet character designer. Please do not include items for the GTCG (Graphical Token Character Generator) which is used via the website.

True Dungeon Character Generator

To avoid double tracking, I will no longer be updating post number 1. You can view the web page above for full version notes and latest copies (both locked for OpenOffice / older Excel copies and unlocked for new Excel and mobile Excel versions).

I will continue to post the latest update notes as new messages in this thread.

Here are the criteria used for inclusion in the Designer:

• Affects a stat recorded on the party card
• Equips in a limited slot
• Has a persistent effect that has high potential to be tracked on the party card either for a single year or ongoing in the future

Automatic exclusion (only 1 has to be met):

• Temporary effect (e.g. lamp of the efreeti)
• Consumed through use (e.g. ammo, potions, etc.)*
• Has no stated effect (e.g. bedroll)
• Has no in-game effect (e.g. currency, trade tokens)

* Unless the effect persists the entire adventure (Scroll Mage Armor, Runestones, etc.)

Just to confirm the Amulet of Wonder affects (+4 HP, +2 to all Saves) is NOT calculated into the character as this changes year to year?

If not, you can EASILY add that function to the spreadsheet manually. The "use anything Dwarven" may not be as easy, but I found that you can modify the spreadsheet for that as well.

Max bonus of awesomeness for Amorgens character sheet!
This thing is great!

The Amulet of Wonder effect *is* worked in for this year. The saves bonuses plus the Dwarven weapon unlocks. I figured out how to make it work.

This is where we report bugs, right? I have these little flying insects around our compost bin. What can I do about them?

Suggest a Charm of Raid token for next year. It kills bugs dead.

Ear slot descriptions are only working on the barbarian. Disclaimer, I am using Excel 2003 and I'm not sure if that's causing the problem.

Otherwise, awesome work as usual!

Noted an oddity, at least on the Druid, when I equip the AoW it causes the Weapon fields to reset/change from what I had keyed in.
Replication Steps:
Key in +2 Keen Scimitar and +1 Sling. Go to Neck and change to AoW.
Excel 2010

Version 2012.94 08/10/2012 Notes:

- Fixed Ear slots. Oddly, only Barbarian tab was showing descriptions.

Interestingly enough, what I fixed on the Barbarian was valid on all tabs. A different problem existed on the rest of the tabs. Oh well. Fixed.
