<br />So I wonder if offers like yours drive the guide value for items up...<br /><br />I mean if you throw out 250% and not a soul trades with you...shouldn't that mean the value of said item is at hitting that 250% mark?<br />

<br />I've done a few other seriously lopsided trades to get tokens I wanted, but didn't post them because I was afraid of throwing the token economy out of whack.    I once was accused of doing the same over at BoardGameGeek.com and didn't want a repeat of that fiasco...  <br />

The priceguide is at least half voodoo anyway and is only tangentally related to reality. I think that was pretty much proved by the change in the girdle during the last version. Just view it as speculative fiction and don't be afraid to deviate from it.

<br /><br />Sorry to burst your bubble Henwy but no voodoo here.  The Price Guide is based on specific trades that come into me via PMs, posts, and email among other sources.  The change in the Girlde was the result of several trades sent to me but if you want to deviate from it, by all means.  :thumbsup:

The math dosen't lie. The numbers were crunched and it seemed to come through loud and clear. Even with several new trades and the weight of old trades, nothing short of voodoo economics could have explained a drop.

Henwy, you are right.  The math doesn't lie but unless you have access to my email account, you don't have access to the numbers to do the math and thus are talking out of ignorance.  :icon_shaking2:

One easy way to fix that, right? Reveal the numbers. Keep the names from it so it's completely anonymous and let us see the numbers that went into the equation. After all, if it's that clear cut, there should be no reason to obscure them. You don't even have to give the tokens it was traded for. Just the value as per price guide for each transaction. Nice and simple and about as anonymous for those involved as possible.

Sorry but I have neither the time nor the desire to go through and post all the trades that I received.<br /><br />But like I said, you are more than welcome to completely disregard the Price Guide in favor of your own numbers.  :thumbsup:
