TOPIC: Modules for 2020 and 2021

Due to the craziness that is the current COVID situation, we have had to alter our normal module plans.

2020 Modules - We promised folks 3 printed modules (S1-S3) with every $1,000 ordered during the 2020 season. Since the S-series did not happen, we are going to instead print up V1 through V3 and send those out after we are finished with the V3 runs.

2021 Modules - Due to the fact that we have an imperfect picture of what is going to happen in 2021, I would rather not promise folks anything with regard to modules.

I hope that we get modules for the 2021 events eventually (no pun intended), but if it never happens I’m sure we all understand.

I am happy just to be playing True Dungeon during this time, and I hope that our ticket and token purchases are helping.

Whatever you need to do to keep going, I’m certain you have the full support of the community.

Thanks for your understanding. I have very little idea of what is going to happen in 2021, so I don't want to get in the same position as I am this year -- with having to substitute V1-V3 for S1-S3.

The science right now points to further lockdowns. It's highly unlikely in person events will happen in 2021, investment in vTD would be advised.

I'm still optimistic that a vaccine will be developed in time to allow in person events in 2021.

Vaccine trial timelines are approx 18 months from completion to release. Even if we had one today validated it wouldn't be widely available for 2021.

Greatly depends on if one is already created and if standard testing practices are maintained for it.

Who knows if they'll meet that goal, but fingers crossed!

As of today they have not identified one of the 14 options as an actual vaccine.
