TOPIC: The next "4C" Transmute (coming in 2026)

Here's a suggestion to help out folks who have loads of 2020, 2021, and 2022 bits from playing VTD (and supporting True Dungeon all that time) without leaving out folks who didn't play VTD much or at all:

Make a consumable transmute (like a runestone or a fallen star mushroom or something?) which requires X number of different Monster Trophies (any year).

That way the heavy VTD players could get something better than too much Fleece, and folks who only play at conventions could still collect and make them.

Oh yeah, and make it an evergreen transmute too, because, why not?

Also, Earcuff of Greater Glory sounds awesome!

That's along the lines of what I was suggesting at one point...I'd even say 20-22 can be used in place of up to 4 or 6 of the (assumed 24+) bits of the 23-26 recipe...as an example. Gates it so it doesn't flood, but isn't a complete exclusion.

Being new, I don't have loads of anything so getting a heads up on a recipe helps tremendously. And...if people have too much of anything they can always send it my way

The whole point of giving advanced notice is to allow for y'all to plan ahead. One might think of it as a gesture of goodwill, if one was feeling generous. To pull the rug out from under you by altering the recipe down the line to include 2022 tokens would be the opposite of a goodwill gesture.
I think it's VERY safe to say that's not going to happen.

Very happy with the heads up. Would have preferred 2022 bits to be included, but am okay with them not.

Also, happy that they won't go back and require things from prior years that people may not have saved or made an effort to obtain, no matter how many copies are still floating around.

Thanks, Druegar! The advance notice is VERY welcome! That's a super impressive transmute, the only downside I see is that it obsoletes all other "Glory" tokens because none of them stack and it's twice as powerful as the others.

There are now 3 slot expanders in the ear, so to add two rings, you’ll have to either drop 2 Charm or 2 ioun. Seems like a good choice.

Drop 1 charm. Since Charm of Glory slot gets freed up.

Drop 1 charm. Since Charm of Glory slot gets freed up.

Correct if you were already using charm of glory. Alternatively, Frees up hands if you are using gloves of glory
