Here are some updates to eye patches:
  • If the character has equipped a slot-expander for the Eyes slot, they may equip more than one eye patch. The in-universe assumption is that the second Eyes slot item is worn on Cranston's Helpful Hat, Hitchhiking Ghost: Bog, or any future Eyes slot expander that might be created. This overrides the ruling made on May 23rd.
  • Without a slot-expander for the Eyes slot, only one Eyes slot item can be worn. It doesn't matter if the item in question goes over one eye or two, there is only one Eyes slot. It doesn't matter if the item is opaque (e.g., Corsair Eye Patch) or translucent (e.g., Lens of the Hawk), you can only equip one unless you have an Eyes slot expander. This has not changed. I'm only including it here as a reminder.
  • Regardless of how many Eyes slots the character has, a character may not wear more than one of the following:
    · Eye Patch of the Aesir
    · Greater Eye Patch of the Aesir
    · Odin's Eye Patch
Regarding high-end Transmute chain interoperability:
Currently, there is no blanket rule that UR/Relic/Legendary series items can't be equipped together. Each series gets decided on a case-by-case basis and noted in the TDb if applicable.
Without a specific prohibition against wearing more than one UR/Relic/Legendary series item, the default is that they may be worn together as long as it's possible to do so. E.g., you can wear Ring of Greater Focus and Relsa's Ring of Supreme Focus because everyone has two Finger slots. (You could also wear Ring of Focus if you've equipped an "of Glory" item.) However, you cannot wear Sacred Necklace and Druegar's Sacred Necklace unless someday a Neck slot expander is released.

IMO: while progress, why do we care if someone wears multiple new eyepatches?

It's arbitrary and clunky to have some tokens that can't be equipped together and others that can that are in some transmute hierarchy. I don't care if the saves beads can be equipped together. I don't care if Trilliant can be equipped together. I can get to the point of not caring if Havoc were equipped together.

The way to prevent undesired stacking is to stop making transmute paths that could be equipped together in the first place, though that ship has sailed with Safeholds creating a bunch of bonus slots that aren't just ghost rares.

Skull and Rod are different in that the transmute is basically just the sum of the components.

A result of folks complaining so that choices are limited. Just see token development where some folks have biased opinions for and against certain type of tokens.
