TOPIC: NEW Golden Ticket Sign Up Procedure for 2025

Sign ups just opened at td.events and it seems to be going smoothly. If anyone has any problems, please make sure you read through the procedure HERE and if you still need help, email me directly.

Everyone who has placed an $8K order has been sent their email with instructions for Step 1 in the process. Everyone who has completed Step 1 has been sent an email with the access code for claiming a spot on a Golden Ticket run.

I appreciate everyone's patience as we work the bumps out of our new process! We are hoping it simplifies things yet keeps it well organized.

Seamed smooth and easy to use

Probably not a big issue, but it looks like you can grab tickets for multiple events if they are different named dungeons (selecting Eldest Ice Unborn just locks you out of the other Eldest Ice Unborn runs).

At what point do non-8k purchasers find out if they were lucky enough to get a Golden Ticket?🎫

I'd assume after you receive your tokens in November.

Non-8k orders get a physical Golden Ticket token that appears in their order. They won't know before their token order arrives if they got a GT.

The traditional Golden Ticket tokens used in years past will be randomly distributed into these orders. Similar to what we've done for the last few years, finders of a Golden Ticket token must go to the "Special Redemption" section of the Token Exchange Program page and add a Golden Ticket claim to their order. However, you do not need to email a photo of your GT token. The physical Golden Ticket token is then sent to TDHQ. After the GT token is received and verified, we change the order status to “Golden Ticket Received”. Within two business days, you'll be emailed a link to the Google Form. After that form is completed, you'll receive a unique code to redeem at td.events to select your Golden Ticket event and time. The sooner you complete the Google Form, the sooner we can email your unique code.

Yeah, we found that out. Unfortunately there's not a "fix" to it currently that would be easy on the ticket holders, so instead of dumping the apple cart, I'm adding a blurb to the email that goes out with the Gen Con access code. We will be monitoring the tickets claimed and if someone claims two for Gen Con they will lose both claimed tickets as well as access and need to contact me to get their spot secured.

Hopefully that is enough of a deterrent that nobody will try any funny business. Ha ha.

One thing I noticed, all of the GT events on td.events say they're CDT. I assume the Gen Con and Origins times are actually Eastern time. Wouldn't want anyone to show up late

Great point. The times listed for the tickets are listed in the local time of each show. We will send a reminder email out to ticket holders before each event to remind them of the time!

This seems like a thread that should be pinned. Without any recent activity, it was kind of hard to find.
