We probably wont know until after the Christmas special, but no harm and asking.

i know what the effect is.

player is at -2 to will saves as they are in a constant state of confusion, "wondering what is this doing again?"

A wonder curse would actually be kind of interesting as a player driven way to add more difficulty...

Rather than a straight negative (which players can impose on themselves anyway), I'd suggest a high risk, high reward tradeoff, such as:

Until you have failed at least 3 savings throws, you fail any save for which the die roll is odd. You make take an additional non-offensive standard action once per combat.

I like the idea of taking a negative for a positive. For example, gain vulnerability to all damage (x2 damage) in exchange for +5 to hit +5 damage or take -3 to all saves to give everyone else in the party +1 to all saves.
What do we want? Evidence based science! When do we want it? After peer review!
