TOPIC: Drow Blade Venom Potion - Very Rare

I just got my Very Rare Drow Blade Venom Potion (for completing a Hardcore run) in the mail today - and all I have to say is THANKS JEFF & COMPANY!!   It's like finding an extra Christmas present under the tree after you thought you'd opened all of them, especially for a Token Fanatic like me 

WooT. Since I completed 2 hardcore runs...does that mean I get 2 of them?

I got my token in the mail today. Needless to say, I was thoroughly pleased by the surprise. Very fitting given the RP offered up after completing the last room! Well done, Jeff and crew. My group didn't get around to posting after we got home from GenCon Indy, but we had an absolute blast. True Dungeon made our GenCon trip. We LOVED it! Looking forward to the next adventure.

Just got mine. I sorta held out hope for two, but I'm happy with one. I guess I can always pick up another at socal .

Nifty! What does the text on the Blade Venom Potion say it does?

POTION: Drow Blade Venom<br /><br />Apply at start of combat 1st successful attack does 5 pts. extra damage DC15<br /><br />So these are some of the MAYBES:<br /><br />1. maybe it costs you a round to apply it<br />2. maybe it expires if you never hit in combat in that room<br />3. maybe it does not work against all creatures - like undead<br />4. maybe it can't be used on blunt weapons - pretty sure this applies<br />5. maybe LG CHARs should not use it???

It is all good - was just throwing things out there as people have tried to estimate a value...and I would say until those 5 MAYBEES are gone...it is hard to value the in-game part of the token.

<br /><br />Very True, Bro!  It seems that if it takes a turn to apply, in most cases you might as well just use that turn attacking and hope you do five or more damage (unless maybe you're a wizard with a dagger I guess, but the Wizard is just as well off using Shocking Hands or some such scroll).  That would drive the value down, if you're equally well off not using it.  Not that I'd EVER use it of course, I don't want to lose my precious!      =D

<br /><br />There is usually some strategy behind my posts...especially when TOKENS are concerned...<br /><br />I'm very curious how a contact poison is going to be worked into the TD world...and well figuring out the value of a give-away run token - well that is fun too.<br /><br />Linda - as Drow priestess are you sure you can't just clear up some of this IFFY stuff?  I mean some other way than collecting all our tokens?<br /><br />Evil Elves...that reminds me of the Evil Goblin King - and you know what that reminds me of...<br /><br />THAT REMINDS ME OF THE BABE!
