Eh. Misread on my part. I thought you were offering up the LS for one of th epurps and an elixer. I figured the advantageous skew was so you could fill slots. Missed the part where you wanted guide value. I'm pretty sure my friend will pass then.

Well the +2 Longsword did not last long...<br /><br />It has gone to a better home where it will get an owner who will use it.<br /><br />Sorry identity and terms will not be posted for fear of showing what an insane deal I made to a friend.<br /><br /> =D

What the heck there are no secrets here...Master Widseth (hope you don't mind me disclosing the deal...) and I amended an older trade we had in the works - (see my set collecting thread...)  So it all worked out well as I knew (but forgot) he really wanted the super sword in his Bardish hands...<br /><br />Sorry if the 3:1 purps seemed excessive to anyone...I was strictly going by Guide and kicking around the idea of getting one of every PURP (full .com set and any unique PURPS to Spider).  <br /><br />The final price paid for the sword will be something like 1 PURP (TBD later) and 5 REDS.  (oh and I am still throwing in the Drow Blade Venom for kicks)

I don't mind at all if details of the deal are made known.  Gary is a great trader and extremely fair.  Besides, he knows that sword might save his skin once or twice in the future (what's a cleric gonna do with a sword--probably hold the wrong end and try to beat a critter to death with the pommel).<br /><br />For me the sword is bling with the sing.<br /><br /><br />Widseth
