TOPIC: Spider WOODIES on eBay

<br /><br />You ought to know that Jeff would not let me design anything too powerful.  <br /><br />I think that combos made it on the list that use each of the ingredients, however.  <br /><br />I also will have alternative formulas for new people who do not have the ingredients, but those formulas will be costlier to use.  So a combo made with an ingredient will be easier to make than to do so without the ingredient.<br /><br />Dave

Well - I am not looking for SPIDER WOODIES - I have close to two full sets.<br /><br />I am looking for 2003, 2004 and 2005 stuff...one of these days I will post a full list.  But someplace there is a list of 2005A and 2005B stuff I am looking for - I think it is down to only 5 tokens now thanks to much help from Raven, INDY and of course Master Widseth.<br /><br />SO DAVE,<br /><br />I take it some of the mystery 11 tokens are COMBO items...neato!  AND we get to cash in some ingredients found in 2006 for items in 2007 (with more expensive options open to noob players) COOL!  (Good thinking)<br /><br />Can't wait to see what the COMBOS are!<br /><br />G

I thought the idea with the ingredient tokens was that you would be able to use all of them at the end of the three year arc to make one token.<br /><br />Kim

I thought the design was that certain combos would be needed to combo up to a better combo...<br /><br />Ingredients were intended to be needed the following year after they came into being - IF I remember correctly.<br /><br />

<br /><br /><br />Dave -<br /><br />    Thank you for your work on all of these things.  It's appreciated.<br /><br />    Just curious about the middle ground.  From your original post, it sounded as though you've taken into account someone who has all the ingredient tokens and someone that has no ingredient tokens.  I'm wondering if the exchange formula will include something like X Ingredient token or 1xA, 1xB, 2xC.  If it does, then this takens into account people who have some ingredient tokens but not a full set. <br /><br /><br />Thank you,<br /><br />JKW<br /><br /><br />

It sounds to me like each new COMBO will have two ways to make it...<br /><br />An ingredient required path AND a more expensive path.<br /><br />So everyone can play COMBO *cues up some cool limbo music...*<br /><br />Combo, combo combo...<br /><br />*cues up some Mombo music*<br /><br />Do the Mombo!  do doo do doo<br /><br />*makes mental note to get more sleep at night...*

<br /><br />That too, but I did not want to make people wait for two years to use them, if they wanted to.  While I fully understand that there are many who would be willing to wait two years, I also know there are those who really want to see the "benefit" for that ingredient the found the year before, so I tried to accommodate.<br /><br />Dave

Yes, very interesting question - will the year 1 ingredient tokens be parts of combo ingredients in future years, or just this year?  Should we use the dungeon ingredient tokens now to use the "cheaper" combo ingredient list, or save them for a possible killer 4 cauldron combo token next year that may or may not require dungeon ingredients from each year?  <br /><br />Of course - the collector in me is saying to use the more expensive combo ingredient list rather than the dungeon ingredients so that I'll still have the dungeon ingredient tokens in my collection.  Even though they have no game value - I MUST HAVE THEM ALL!  =D<br /><br />
