You are both essentially correct.  My original intention for the combos was to have several different types, some would be easy and others would be much more difficult to make, requiring past combos.  The wrench in the works was that with the old token manufacturing system we had a lot more flexibility in the numbers and variations of the tokens we could make.  If we wanted to print 10 tokens, we could (granted, for a fee of course).  With the new process, we lost the flexibility, variation, and the ability to ruminate on the list until the last minute. <br /><br />This meant we really had to set limits on the number of combos we could make this year.  Because the numbers were limited, we felt we could not have ones only attainable with other combos or ingredients in 2007.  We had to set up and allow for multiple formulas for each token.  That does not mean that some will be out of the reach of newer players due to variations in the list of ingredients or cost, but there will be a way to make each combo that will allow a player or new collector to get them if they are determined enough.  <br /><br />Next year this may all change, but for 2007, we are set based on the order Jeff had to place with the manufacturer.  <br /><br />Don’t misunderstand, there still will be that uber-rare 4C token in 2008 and the best, most economical way to make it may be to use other combos.<br />
