TOPIC: 2007 Token Collection Spreadsheet

I've updated and uploaded the latest version of my spreadsheet to include the 2007 tokens that the general public is aware of at this time.<br /><br /> http://home.comcast.net/~jkwmisc/TD/Token_Collection_Blank.xlt <br /><br />I added Exiler of Life as a Misprint for 2004.<br />I made the ? and ?? Specials match the Chart (only in 2003 and not in 2004).<br /><br />I'm still confused by feedback apteryx left me regarding <br />

• Cloak of Displacement has a dragon back.

• All of the items removed from 2005A have 2005B backs as a misprint. I have examples of the Wands of Cure Light and Detect Magic. Smack has examples of the others.

<br /><br />I would also appreciate confirmation regarding the Rings of Three Wishes and Regeneration.<br />

• The chart has them as 2005.  Suzanne Fox left a note stating she was pretty sure they were 2004.

Great chart!  How about adding an additional 2007 column, so that you can have a column for 2007 Gold tokens and 2007 Platinum tokens.  They will surely have different values.  <br /><br />It would be great if something like this could be used in the "My Tokens" link on this site - which isn't working right now.  That way you could see what tokens other people have as well as what year those tokens are.  I'd really like to see tokens like Artisan & Combo tokens added to the "My Tokens" page when it's restored.<br /><br />Thanks!<br />Mike

Doh!<br /><br />Thank you, Mike,<br />I'm not certain I understand what you mean, but what you reminded me of is that I goofed.<br />I left the 5 PP at 5 GP in value.  I meant to multiply it by 5.<br /><br />Did you see the Platinum Pieces section beneath the Gold section?<br /><br />I just updated the Platinum Pieces so that they are *5 to calculate the correct GP value.  Uploading file shortly.<br /><br />I am with you on adding all of the tokens to the My Tokens database.<br />Personally, I'd like to see a way to "upload" my token spreadsheet or something to the database.  And you are right, for Collectors, it would be nice to see the year on the database.<br /><br />JKW

The other thing I think Mike was saying is that each token EXCEPT UR PURPS will have a GOLD version and a PLATINUM version (the color of the chip the stickers are on).<br /><br />I would think the new Price guide as well as any collectors sheets could have slots for either version of the CHIPPIE - that would be cool anyways!<br /><br />G

Doh.  I had forgotten about that.  Silly me.  I am not an uber-collector.<br />Thank you Mike, and to Gary for spelling it out for me.  I'll add that later tonight sometime.  Right now, I'm training 8 people overseas to take our jobs while working on spiffying up my resume to send out tomorrow.<br /><br />

Updated and uploaded spreadsheet.<br /><br />Added Gold 2007 and Silver 2007 columns.  I chose Silver instead of Platinum simply because the word Platinum was too long for the width of the cell and I didn't like Excel splitting the word Platinum into two portions.  You can name it whatever you want.  <br /><br /><br />Any other observations?  Thank you for the help everyone. <br /><br /><br />JKW

GOLD and PLAT work best I think...

I'm not sure how you'd document it, but there is also a token they gave out in 2003 to everyone to show the day & time of their run.  It was .com back, and the front was blank except for the writing of the day & time.  <br /><br />Also, concur with Bro on Gold and PLAT as the column headers.  <br /><br />Mike

I figured that would be the majority decision.  I just prefer something other than "plat."  Platinum does, however, fit the theme that these tokens are more scarce than the gold.  I'll update it next round.<br /><br />Thank you for the feedback.<br /><br />
