Thanks Raven.  The results were a little unexpected.  Some went for MUCH more than I thought they would and others were a little lower but thanks again to everyone that bid (even if you didn't win).  And if you did, make sure you stop by and say hi in the Tavern.  ;^)

Hm...an old guide shows $20.xx for the HoG, but it went for nearly ten times that amount!  My wife again states that we are all NUTS.<br /><br />Glad you had a good outcome.  When I get that $200,000/yr job, I'll come back to bid again.  Hm...guess it won't be *this* lifetime.  <br /><br />I'd be better off buying some $250 packs, getting a UR and hoping to score another in a random draw.  <br /><br /><br />Catch you at Indy.

Mage armor, mostly.  I don't want anything hitting me.  I'm hoping that when I get my tokens I can get or trade for a Claok of the mage.  The wands are always kewl, of course, for auto matic damage.<br /><br />Brian<br />

<br /><br />That Guide is WAY out of date.  But even I was surprised by how high the HoG went.  Wow!  I would have guessed between $50-$100.  Perhaps the fact that it is no longer in print has something to do with it?  The new URs are going to be more common that the older ones.<br />

<br /><br />Thats what I thought.  And honestly (no offense to the winning bidder) but I don't think the HoG is that great.  I mean its basically as good as your 3rd worst ring and at the expense of an +1 AC (assuming you have an Amulet of Armor).<br /><br />Although, picturing a Cleric or Druid (or even Wizard) with 3 Rings of Focus admittedly does make me salivate a little.
