TOPIC: More EBay goodness (including Artisan token!)

I won the gloves of Dex, and to be honest, my max bid was a lot higher then that. My last bid was with over an hour to go, and I had just been outbid prior to that, so I'm surprised I came home with the token.

I wanted the gloves, but My top price is about $50 for something I really want.  Any higher than that and I might as well have bought a $250 pre-order this year.  Besides, my wife would be ticket at me spending so much on a "wooden nickel with writing on it."  <br /><br /><br /><br /><br />JKW

I'm not surprised the Savior Stone went low (lots of them around), but I was a bit surprised the Artisan token didn't beat the gloves. Function apparently means something ::grins::<br /><br />While the bidding was a bit tame relative to Douglas' auction, I'm not bothered about it. These three tokens will pay for the shipping costs I'm incurring this weekend with a big box of armor, as well as part of my rental car. Not a bad trade from my perspective!<br /><br />Thanks to all the bidders!

I was surprised the stone went low...what with the lethality of the dungeon.<br /><br />I plan on burning one this INDY for sure now!<br /><br />I figure there was a tad less press about your auctions Evan...and maybe less motivation as getting Douglas to Con was a KEY factor in my bidding on his auctions!

<br /><br />Personally, I'm surprised it went that high.  At $33 (with shipping), you could go on another run and get another bag of tokens.  And with the Ghost Rule, you still get to see the whole dungeon.  Before the auction, I would have guessed $20-$25.  =|<br /><br />

<br />...and maybe less motivation as getting Douglas to Con was a KEY factor in my bidding on his auctions!  <br />

<br /><br />IF you could get TIX for another run...or IF you could get in with a group as the 8-man - and have to mess around with generics...<br /><br />Personally, I want to survive with my comrades...getting pulled into the gem really stunk last time...<br /><br />Glad I "over-bid" a few of your expectations...I too was a tad under my MAX of $35 on the Stone...AND I won't tell where I bid on the Artisan...just to keep any other ARTY auctions honest...
