TOPIC: Latest Token Update (They are almost here!)

Pretty exciting that we'll be getting our tokens within a week or two!  I'll bet there is a TON of forum activity once those tokens start getting opened and sorted  =D

So we are expecting them to be mailed by the end of this week, right?  Then they should arrive early next week?  Maybe I can bring my postal carrier to deliver next Monday!<br /><br />Brian<br />

<br /><br />FYI, if I'm doing my math right, a $4000 order would be a bit over 120 pounds of tokens. Thats not just a heck of a bit order, its a heck of a heavy order!

<br /><br />Wow, that's quite a bit!  Somehow I'd figured you were buying at least 10 of the 100 bag specials.  I'd say you're still easily #1, but the spread from #1 to #4 or #5 isn't that big.  <br /><br />I'd guess that many people will be be willing to trade their proof token for the same token plus some sort of bonus.  Still - I wonder if there are any proofs of consumable tokens like the Elixer of Life, the Gem of Healing, or the Special, or even some of the "lesser" permanents, or whether everyone picked the more popular permanent items. 

(sigh) Kinda makes my order looks small.<br />I only ordered 1 of the 100 bag specials, and I had to dip into drug money* to do that.<br /><br />Personally, I think that anything over the simple 25 bag order is a bit much.  After you've got 25 30 bags of tokens, you can outfit a party quite sufficiently. And with that order, you get at least one shiny UR to show off. Buying more than that isn't about the bulk tokens anymore, it's just a way to get the extra purples. <br /><br />Or it's a choice to financially support True Dungeon.<br /><br />Honestly, I suspect the latter is true of most people who ordered more than $250 of tokens.<br /><br />Just my 2GP,<br />                    - Raven<br /><br />*My medical insurance pharmaceutical reimbursement cheque, actually.
