TOPIC: Construction of Masterwork Spear legal this year?

Hi all, my group was planning to construct a Masterwork Spear from the multiple tokens we have and wanted to know if it was a legal item for TD this year?<br /><br />A "Thank You" goes out to Raven for bringing this to my attention.<br /><br />

According to the newsletter sent out earlier, these are the combo tokens being done this year:<br /><br />Dagger of Throwing (one cauldron)<br />Recipe: 7x bladed weapons, 1x Scroll of Keen Edge, 40x GP in gold and or gems (or no gold/gems and 1x Stone Spider Fang)<br /> <br />Gem of Blinding (two cauldrons)<br />Recipe: 1x Thunderstone, 1x pyrite, Ix Sardonyx, 2x Small Steel Mirrors, 1x Potion of Fire Resistance, 2X Scroll of Shocking Grasp, 100 GP in gold and or gems (or no gold/gems and 1x Ghoul Tongue)<br /> <br />Spider Silk Shirt (three cauldrons)<br />Recipe: 3x Fluorite, 1x Jade, 1x Mortar and Pestle, +1 Cloak of Resistance, 3x Leather Armor, 1x Universal Solvent, 1x Anti-toxin, 1x Scroll: Slow Poison, and 300 GP in gold and or gems (or no gold/gems and 1x Dryder Silk)<br /><br />So if you want a masterwork spear, you probably need to try and arrange a trade with someone who acquired one last year would be my guess.

In the evening Dave Radtke does the combo tokens, you turn in the 'ingredients' to him and 'combines' them through a mystical and magical process and hands you a Combo token.<br /><br />So far I've heard conflicting times. Jeff said 5-7pm, yesterday Dave said 7-9pm.<br />But yeah, it goes something like that.  =D

<br /><br />i think the time difference depends on the day.  when there was talk about changing the time (it was originally posted as 5-7), i was relieved when he all but promised to keep thursday at 5-7 (i scheduled runs based on this time) while possibly moving other days later to accomodate those with daily set schedules.

2006 combo tokens are really not available any more.  We promised that we would destroy any left overs and as far as I know they made good kindling.<br /><br />I wanted to stagger the schedule in the tavern at least one day to make sure that people that had a fixed schedule that might fall in the 5-7 time frame had at least one day they might be able to make it.  Thursday and probably Saturday will stay 5-7, if any time changes it will be Friday.  <br /><br />Dave <br /><br />

Can I assume there will be a certain number of each available each day?  I'm going to get a Dagger of Throwing.

I am going to take the total number of tokens (for each design) and divide them into thirds.  1/3 of each 1-3C will be available each day, until gone, two hours is up, or I have to run for an emergency... =D

If we are GMing while you are in the tavern, I assume proxies can trade for us?<br />

If you are going to be working a shift for true dungeon during that time and can't make it, let me know or Dave. So that one can be set aside for you.

<br /><br />I couldn't agree more - it's the top weapon for multiple classes (perhaps barring a couple of PURPs).  I happen to have a couple for trade as well  =D
