I still remember with a fond smile the time I mailed around 300 pounds worth of crap media mail. It did my heart good to see the USPS people trying to haul it around swearing.

Well they were pretty nice about it at my local PO - they took the items and just mentioned the 3/4 rule and suggested in the future - stuffing tissue in the thing.<br /><br />

I'm assuming it must be something new. I used to put delivery confirmation on just about everything, including letters type whozits with no problems.

<br />The most asinine thing I've ever encountered at the post office is having the clerk tell me you can't send a magazine with book rate. <br />(And apparently, you aren't supposed to, on a pencil-necked technicality.)<br /><br />

<br /><br />I was told by a clerk at my PO that it's because 'zines have advertising is why they aren't supposed to be shipped book rate/media mail.<br /><br />So I just say it's a book, and it's all good.<br /><br />Dave
