What did the ingredients and pouches go for? 16 years 8 months ago #1

Did anyone trade for or trade off these tokens and if so what sort of return did you get?

in my two runs (with a horn of plenty) i only pulled one ingredient (quicksilver), but i managed to trade for one of each ingredient and an alchemist pouch. i believe i gave a mid-range rare, like a +1 weapon i had plenty of, each for two of the ingredients, and then i traded 5 rares for the pouch and an ingredient.

5 runs with a HoP. I pulled 2 ingredients personally, a shambler slime and a quicksilver. I'm guessing I'm pretty much in the outlier group as far as those odds are concerned. 2 out of 39 tokens is pretty crappy (didn't get a pull from the study first run due to non-solve and the DM forgot it when we solved it during the second time around. Wasn't until 3rd run I got a pull from that box.). Saw people beat that in 2 runs without a HoP.

If it was me that forgot, I did say I was sorry ( very last minute slove ) I know Raven went through and did not pull one in 4 runs...

FYI, 4 runs with the Horn of Plenty netted me 3 Alchemist Pouches, but a measly 2 ingredients.

I can't even remember now. All the runs swim together in my head. It ws the run where Mock26 solved it with around a minute to spare. Frankly, with the way I was pulling, it would have just been another handful of mortar and pestles anyway.

As far as the value of the ingredients, one is for sale now on Ebay, and is already up to $11. Ebay prices really fluctuate, but it'll be interesting to see what it (and the Ring of the Eye and Guild of Ale Drinkers tokens) go for.

Ouch. :| If that's going to be the going rate of the ingredients, I'm never going to get the two I'm missing. I've got all three from 2006, and I was hoping for all the 2007s, but only managed to pull one in the dungeon. I really hope this doesn't kill my chance of getting the super-combo next year.

I am hoping the ingredients are optional, like they were this year. Otherwise, I am also out of luck.

Well according to previous posts the hope is to have 2 4 cauldron tokens and 1 would require all 6 ingredients and the other would require optional other ingredients. This is to reward players that collected year to year.

But if only 1 4 cauldron is possible then the reqs will be the ingredient tokens or other optional ingredients.
