TOPIC: What did the ingredients and pouches go for?

Re: What did the ingredients and pouches go for? 16 years 8 months ago #25

No problem. Guess I got lucky, two runs, two pouches. Did ok on ingredients except ecto. When are the first hints of combos for next year?

First two runs with HoP - pulled one ingredient

Second two runs with HoP - pulled four ingredients

Never got the AP - but was able to trade for one...Thanks Flash!

So does anyone care to venture a guess at how valuable a Horn of Plenty is after this recent string of auctions?

Hopefully value-less enough for someone to sell it to me on the cheap...

I think it will be very valuable. Since everyone can use it, everyone will want it. My guess is #3 of the 2007s below Nightshade and the Holy sword but above everything.

I'd guess it will end up as the #1 valued 2007 token, I think if you put them up on Ebay now the Horn would bring the highest price. Long-term value will depend in part on which tokens are discontinued after this year.

There was no doubt that it was the most valuable token in the 2007 run. I was wondering what everyone thought of its actual value considering the Holy Greatsword went for 145. I am thinking it could fetch close to if not over 200.

The HGS ended up being a bit of an undersell if for no other reason than two people popped up on the forums right after the auction ended and wanted to pay more for one seeing how the auction went. That's usually a fair indication that someone got a good price on it. Of course, who can tell with how things will flux year to year.

The most valuable token of 2007 though is clearly the Super Dave longbow, currently in my possession and signed by its namesake. I've been sleeping with the token under my pillow and rubbing it hoping that it'll confer upon me the same super powers of neither requiring food, water, sleep, nor (if rumors are true) air for a duration of a con.
