TOPIC: +2 bracers of defence rock!!!

who other then myself got the +2 bracers of defence. i know Patrick the Pansy did (since he beat me in the semi finals of arena, then went on to become champion) and i know my friend sellout did, but i havent heard of anyone else really.

Turn in your UR Special token, you roll a die, Smak got one of these with a low roll.  Rumor has it, a 20 roll got you something additional.

<br /><br /><br />I heard that at first, they were doing the sliding thing wrong. (Only getting the Bracers with a "20" and getting a random Purple with a "15-19"). Not sure how much of that was a rumor however.

<br /><br />Ya, that's what caused me to trade a special, figuring that there was no way I could count on sliding a 20. Finding out that the rumor was either wrong or the process changed caused some major griping on my part.

That was the slowest and most screwy combat board I've ever run across. I'm not surprised you missed 5 times or whatever, even without the muscle relaxants. I got a few practice tosses and hit '15' around 3 times in a row. The only time I tried higher, it rocketed off the bumper in the back. In the end, I decided to just take the '15' and run with it.
