Raven's Prosopagnosia.

I can attest to that. You wouldn't know how many people she mistakes and these are people who she's known for years. I honestly think the only reason why she recognizes me is by my voice and the fact that I don't have a lot of clothes that she hasn't already seen. Still she does do an awesome job of making people feel like they are special so that usually makes up for it. =D

Lady Myke
In case you haven't noticed, I'm still just trying to get back at you for not remembering who I was this year...

(she had to look at my name tag!) =(

(Sigh)

Just ask Gary how many times I couldn't recognize him, the first year we met!

(BTW - here's a good term for you: Prosopagnosia. I have a mild form of it, probably linked to Aspergers/Autism which runs in my family.)

On Wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosopagnosia

OH, I'm jusy playin' with ya.
I forget people and faces all the time too. Alzheimers runs in my family - it scares me. =(
You wouldn't know how many people she mistakes and these are people who she's known for years.

I don't think that I want to know how many people I mistake on a regular basis. I'm happier not knowing. (sigh)

I honestly think the only reason why she recognizes me is by my voice and the fact that I don't have a lot of clothes that she hasn't already seen.

You're easy to recognize - you've got the longest hair of anyone I know. And I think that after all these years, I could even recognize you without it. (But please don't cut your hair short, because I don't want to test this theory!)

Still she does do an awesome job of making people feel like they are special so that usually makes up for it. =D

Aw, thanks. (blush)

Just eat a ton of fatty fried foods and never exercise. That's my plan. Ha ha! Take that diseases associated with age! Heart attack will claim me first.

Very effectively!

Your inner Drow likes to come out and play often, doesn't it? ;)

I forget people and faces all the time too. Alzheimers runs in my family - it scares me. =(

Yeah, Alzheimers scares me, too, even tho it doesn't run in my family. I've worked with a lot of Alzheimers patients.
The cool thing about being a role-player, though, is you have lots of opportunities to excercise your brain - figuring out tricky riddles, adding the numbers on dice, calculating odds, outwitting the DM, etc.

I'm still considering making a purchase and asking for the Flaming Shortbow or the Gloves of Dexterity...

Take it from experience, that's a great combination - along with bracers of archery and a few other items.

I sometimes wish my inner Drow was the real me.

And my grandma was in a documentary about Alzheimer's. I still haven't been able to watch it because I know I'll cry.
At least the one I was in (for 5 seconds) is about the football team.

So... anyway...

(backtrack a couple pages)
I guess I should put Nightshade's Short Sword as #3 on my list of wanted purps since I play ranger sometimes.
