TOPIC: Results of UR token rotation

Jeff,<br />    I don't know if this is a plan or if this is uninteneded but if you do rotate in 15 new UR tokens, you are going to send the e-bay price of the existing tokens (at least the good ones) up. <br /><br />Right now one of things keeping the E-bay prices from getting silly is the pick-your-purple option.  People know if they are truely desperate to get a token they can spend $250 and buy it from you.  Once a token is rotated out, only the market will determine the upper level.  <br /><br />On the other hand, this will likely cause you to sell a lot of token between now and your cut off date.<br /><br />You have already seen a wave of Horn buyers.  My guess is you will get a second wave of girtle buyers.     

I don't think it's a bad thing for the price of tokens on Ebay to go up, in fact I think it's a good thing.  If people see that the tokens can have a high resale value when they go out of print, that can only drive up the sales of tokens from True Dungeon.  <br /><br />The Girdle is different from the Horn - I'm sure if the Girdle does go out of print it will be back in print eventually.  The Horn is likely out of print forever after this year.

<br /><br />I agree.  You could see all the people grabbing horns in the first pass.  But I think people will try to grab the Girdle before it go also.
