TOPIC: Token Bug

<br />She is a very petite 14 year old. Weighs in at around 105 soaking wet. She is currently sewing a leaf covered cloak that she made herself. She found the leaves at JoAnn ETC for next to nothing. Christmas close-out. Now she has close to 400 leaves to sew on this cloak. Looks great so far. <br />

<br /><br />Making your own costume is the BEST...well almost as good as having an awesome DD creation that is!  I tell ya Sis can sew circles around Singer and Pfaff themselves!

I have to agree with bro that there is no feeling quite like the pride you get of knowing you made your own costume. <br /><br />Sewing is my hobby. So if your daughter gets stuck on something with her cloak feel free to give a shout out and I'll be happy to share any suggestions/advice I might have. I am only here to help.<br /><br />As for size wise. I'm about a size 4 or 6. So I may have stuff she can borrow. Let me know what class she was thinking about playing and I can see what I have that might work with it.

Well, I guess I mean that she is small and thin. She wants to play a ranger.

Hm, I'm not sure how ranger-ish these might be but I have a little waist cincher with matching half vest in a black faux leather with floral 'tooling'. Playing around I had also made some arm cuffs with red feather trim just to try a pattern out.<br /><br />She's welcome to have them, they were early learning projects of mine. And I haven't worn them in forever and probably won't again. Even if she won't use them for the adventure run, she's welcome to them for dress up or whatever.<br /><br /><br />There is no metal stays, just some lightweight plastic to keep it from bunching. I think they'll probably fit her fine.<br />And she could stitch some of the leaves onto them for a more rangerish feel and to coordinate with the cloak if she likes. They are hers for whatever, if she wishes.
