TOPIC: 2009 Token Details

The 2009 tokens will be offered in much the same way as they were in 2008 -- except for a big change for the ultra-big tokens spenders.  I have always wanted to do something cool for the handful on individuals who throw a huge amount of support into True Dungeon -- but I could not come up with anything until this year once we came up with the Onyx Proof tokens.  That led to another cool idea where we make all proof tokens have an Onyx color and hand those out as well.  See below.  And it won't hurt to give them another reason to buy a lot of tokens given the economy.  I want to make sure we keep improving True Dungeon every year.  Sleeping Giants cost a lot to hire!<br /><br />Pre-orders will start Nov. 17th, 2008 and they will go until Feb. 2nd, 2009.  The tokens should ship out by Feb. 15th.<br /><br />1 pack = $10<br /><br />10 pack = $95 plus two FREE bags (a total of 12)<br /><br />25 pack = $250 plus five FREE bags (a total of 30) PLUS one Ultra Rare token of your choice.<br /><br />50 pack = $500 plus 10 FREE bags (a total of 60) PLUS TWO Ultra Rare tokens of your choice.  One of these UR tokens will be the standard gold color and it will be shipped with your order in Feb, but the other one will have a special "onyx" or black backing.  These onyx UR proof token(s) will be shipped to you a few days after you place your order.<br /><br />100 pack = $1000 plus 20 FREE bags (a total of 120) PLUS four UR tokens of your choice (Two URs will be gold, and two will be Onyx and shipped in a few days).  PLUS, you will receive a signed copy of the module after the event is over in October. This module will contain a map of the event as well as many illustrations not available anywhere else.  And the module will be cool!<br /><br />800 pack = $8000 plus 160 FREE bags (a total of 960) PLUS 16 URs of your choice on gold tokens delivered in Feb., and all 20 URs on Onyx tokens delivered about a week after you place your order.  In addition, you will also receive an entire proof set of Onyx tokens of the 2009 Common, Uncommon and Rare tokens about a week after you place an order.  That totals all 140 2009 tokens on proof Onyx backs received about a week after you place your order.  Lastly, you get eight copies of the module.<br /><br />NOTE:  The price threshold for FREE ticket to the Token Buyers' Dinner at True Realm is still to be determined.  Much depends on True Realm ticket sales, but it should be posted by Nov. 10th.  It will probably be $1,000, though for all token purchases made through MArch 15th, 2009.<br /><br />Thanks to everyone for their suggestions this year with regards to the tokens.  It has been a long and crazy process, but one that I think we can be very proud of undertaking.  (And now you all have a glimpse of the madness that is the dungeon design!).<br />
