TOPIC: Spoiler Alert! 2008 "Hope for the Lost" Proof Module is HERE!

<br />A while back, I got out the 1st ed DMG to look up the RoSP.<br />Looks like each part has its own unique power and, as sections are added, more "set" powers are gained.  Such as, combine Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 and you receive the benefits of all three parts, plus an additional 1-2 powers.  Similar to the "Diablo sets" which I believe Jeff said he was fond of.<br />Should be interesting to see how this develops over the years.<br /><br /><br />John<br />

<br /><br />It will be interesting to see how TD has the additional powers (if it has additional powers), given the restriction of the space on the front of the token.  Unless they also put a sticker on the back side of the token with additional text.  Or I guess they could just add the additional powers in the Token Guide, the way the 10 points of Fire Resistance is handled with the Dragonscale Set.  <br /><br />Mike

Seven tokens versus one?<br />Two thoughts - one is what you said, Mike, the Token Guide could always state "If part 1 and part 2 are combined, then the player receives these bonuses..."<br />The other thought is that, if TD has the resources to spend on it, TD could always create additional tokens, such as a "Parts 1 & 2" token.  Such a token could have the full effects written on it.<br />Perhaps you can only "combo" certain "sets" of the parts:  <br />  "parts 1-3"<br />  "parts 1-5"<br />  The Rod of Seven Parts (Parts 1-7) (fully assembled)<br />This would mean turning in the individual tokens to receive a "comboized" token listing each of the parts turned in.<br /><br /><br />Hm...my wife is saying "this is not how you study."  Er - need to go!

<br /><br />I was thinking something along those same lines, John, that TD might make some extra tokens that stated what the bonus effects were for having multiple parts.  That would be better than the token guide, since you could put the bonus tokens with the Rod tokens.  Not sure how they would be distributed though - perhaps if (for instance) segments 1-3 had an effect, one bonus token with the bonus effect could be distributed with each segment 3 token.  There would cover all the possible 3 segment sets plus some.

<br /><br />Cool.  I was wanting it to be a surprise.  I guess I figured you guys figured out my "Master Plan" to solidify you all into the ranks of TA.  This is the ultimate Combo item to be earned by the token faithful at the end of the seven years.<br /><br />And yes, as you have probably guessed by now, each $1k order will receive the Rod of Seven Parts (Segment Two) token with their module next Fall.

We had guessed, but it's good to hear it anyway!<br /><br />Yahoo!  Wow - a seven-year combo.....*faint*  (or should I call it a $7k combo? - septuple-faint!!!!!!!)
