TOPIC: How rare is Very Rare? (Very)

Good list there Douglas. Thanks.

Okay...this is the last I will ever say about these items. You guys will just have to see what happens at the event. The bigger the surprise -- the better.

Hey, and don't forget that about 10% of all magical items are cursed. Don't be in too big a hurry to get that shiny new magic item!

Hee hee.

Um... do we need to increase the value of the Remove Curse scroll?

Darn, that just moved another Very rare from the "dump ASAP" catagory to the "Horde" catagory.

Hey yo'all,

This is something I noticed today and wondered if anybody had more information on it:

The 2004 tokens had either a five pointed star or no symbol on the True Dungeon face

The 2005 tokens have what looks like a face blowing wind.

Personally, I am very glad that I can differentiate my last years's gauntlets of ogre kind from the much more common ones that will be circulating this year.

Also, does anyone know how many bags of tokens were sold last year?

Yes it did. It's suddenly OFF the trade list... *sigh*

David has got it right.

I think only three people got Rings of Three Wishes:

Lance Lamont
Jenn Hough
Warren Snider

Oh...and I have one too!

And I know exactly where it is, too

I found out that last year there were 5000 tokens sold. I have no idea what was done 1st year. Does anyone know?

So, last year, there were about 4.5 bags/very rare(can anyone confirm this?), or 1 very rare per 40 tokens, meaning that there were about 125 very rares total, or about 4 very rares of each kind.

This means that as of right now, there are about 18 very rare of each kind present in both sets, 14 for new items like the heavy crossbow, and 4 for hourglass of answers.
