TOPIC: The Carebear Stare

I just wanted to drop a general message to who inquired after me and showed concern for my well-being Thursday during gencon. Out of the blue I started feeling seriously unwell and looking it to boot based on the reactions I was getting. I'm still not sure exactly what it was though the most likely culprit was some sort of really intense food poisoning. What it functionally reminded me of was my last colonoscopy prep but without the joy and happy feelings. Added to my other more general medical issues, it was hideous and resulted in me missing my first TD run of the day.

One of the people on the run thought it'd be funny to tell people she thought I was just hung over from downing too much vodka the night before so for the rest of the day I had people sympathetically telling me I should take it easy on the booze. Still, I appreciate how much people cared even if at the time all I wanted to do was crawl into a corner and expire.

Just glad you got better and everything was eventually okay.

Any chance you hit the food trucks?

My wife got a pulled pork on the first day and was sick as dog until the third.
