If you're giving up gloves I support it. Though I would say we have to find a way to make it useful for players who open one randomly.

Gloves of Wise Weapon Use - Allows you to bypass stat requirements for weapons and +4 Wis.

Could we just make a wis/dex charm to replace enlightenment since most clerics are locked in for that anyway. I'd rather give classes what they need to equip thors hammer rather then a method to bypass equip requirements.

Would dexterous gauntlets +4 Dex be

A enough for clerics and dwarves

B not too good for others?

Agree with all of this. Sacrificing 2 level 2 spells feels steep. Add wizards too, of course.

The gloves would require more thought to equip. Do you equip those? Gloves of the Cabal? Gloves that actually give you Str or Dex? Whereas the charm would just likely wind up being an immediate replacement with no thought.

Also, the Cleric needs to pick up 9 Dex in order to wield the hammer. In order for the charm to be useful for the purpose of the hammer, you're probably going to have to put significant Dex on it. Probably too much for it to be allowed.

Perhaps a one-handed holy sword for Paladins? I have a Blessed Redoubt Shield but since both hands are needed for the Holy Great Sword means it's not used ATM.

Or as I suggested last year, bracers that allow a shield with a two-handed weapon.

Agreed. Though I don't mind what the additional properties are as long as they're reasonable.
