I still want to combine all the volunteer Ioun Stones into one :)

Ok that probably won’t happen but any Ioun relic/legendary would be cool.

I like Kirk’s suggestion of a ring slot expander. Too many great amulets though. How about bring back Earcuff of Orbits and add an upgrade path for +1 and +2 rings.

This. There was some discussion along these lines in a prior thread ( truedungeon.com/forum?view=topic&catid=5&id=246808&limitstart=0#304453 ). I’d really like to see a transmute path for wands that feels like the path used for weapons, adding damage and special features as you progress toward legendary. It needs work, but here is what I proposed in that prior linked thread after Wayne brought up the idea:

-UR Wand of Elements: 10 damage and pick your element
-Relic Greater Wand of Elements: 10 damage, pick your element, and infinite uses per room (requires UR wand and a bunch of rare wands of various elements to transmute)
-Legendary Eldritch Wand (or maybe Elder Wand???): 15 eldritch damage and infinite uses per room (requires relic wand and a bunch of rare wands of various elements to transmute)

I think the infinite use bit would be key for high level wand transmutes to work. Best I can tell, we don’t have many (any?) relic or legendary items that are restricted to one use per room, so we shouldn’t limit relic/legendary wand uses either. I fear restricting the number of uses at relic and legendary would turn most people off as not being worth the transmute investment.

I still think they should reprint the +2 Great Club of Bashing and make a Legendary track to get it to +5 ____ Club of Bashing. Plus there isn't any amazing Barbarian Legendary weapon. Yes there is the +5 Slayer Sword, but ask any Barbarian, hitting things with a sword is nothing like hitting the enemy with a giant stick.

would you be disappointed if the wand transmute was a light blue transmute level? it could be one of the Rare+ transmutes that goes up to UR power level. since it wouldn't be such a high investment (and people can afford to make multiple), it can still have the 1/room limit.

I would worry that an unlimited use wand would just make every wand printed completely worthless (...again).

Averon's +5 Deathcleaver is pretty good.

It's an axe rather than a club, but it's pretty good.

I would love to see a path for lower budget players to get more treasure find. Right now it’s hard to justify even the ion stone as it gives only +1 treasure over over a rare at a cost of $100+. With my group we tend to forgo stuff like this and instead go on more runs. Maybe a X of treasure find +2 and greater X of treasure find +4 that both can’t be used with other treasure find gear. But that doesn’t require anything to crazy to make.

If we do a Legendary Bard instrument, I’d rather it be something completely different. Perhaps it compliments other instruments, even an ioun stone that boosts bardsong? Or an actual instrument but nothing like the current ones. Still something you’d use very often, switching between it and the existing UR instruments. I don’t have any specific ideas.

Legendary Transmute path:

UR Charm of Frenzy: +4 shock damage with 2 handed weapons

Relic Berzerker Charm: +6 fire damage with 2 handed weapons
(counts as a Charm of Fenzy)

Legendary X's Charm of Annihilation: +6 eldritch damage & may declare any hit a crit 1/game
(Counts as a Berzerker Charm and Charm of Frenzy)

These feel like charms to me based on Charm of Rampage, but I think if they stack with one another they are too good.

Newbie 4 point transmute - similar in cost to Blessed Tempest Gloves:

Rare : Heartseeker - Neck - +1 to hit in melee and ranged

Transmute - Soulseeker - Neck - +2 to hit in melee and ranged

UR Bard Instrument: +2 Party damage (same as other URs); May reroll next failed save by any player

Relic, same, but get +5 on reroll

Legendary, get +10 on reroll
