I still feel like the Skull of Sacrifice is a waste of a rare, cost to high for so little.

Interesting. I know the first draft removed curses as well. I'd originally though that curse removal was the primary purpose of the skull. With the update, I agree with you that the cost is too high.

But for sealed pack runs or folks who don't care about gold, this thing probably works as intended.

I don't know... you keep the skull... and 300 gp is ~ $1.50... for 5 point healing in a pinch... Is that bad?

I would like healing like this to come in chunks of 10 now... b/c of MEC..

But maybe there will be a future blood-mage gadget that bleed you 5pts... like a transmute made from wands... that creates a more powerful wand, but one that's unstable, and backlashes at the caster for 5 pts...


Buuuuuut any way - I don;t think the design is bad... although I would be interested to know what tweaks might be done to it....

A different GP to healing ratio maybe?

The rares look verra nice!

This applies to all the Totem Paints (C/UC/R). I know that Darkwood Plank is kind of the catch-all trade good... but... it's paint. Maybe Alchemist's Ink makes more sense?

Should belt of ogre power have the transmuted url?

I'm liking that Cloak of Painful luck, I think it will suit this drunken dwarf just fine. Kinda wish fighter was on the Charm of the Faithful but I can see why not fluff wise.

It is indeed a solid token in its new version.

I think the previous one was also pretty nice; it wasn't actually as good as last year's UR Bracers (Gloves slot has more competition with Mithral Gauntlets / Gloves of Weapon Finesse / Gloves of Glory) and the UR version negates Sneak Attack immunities as well as Critical Immunities. It was a decent Rare > UR progression.

But I think this is even better, as they now offer the Rogue some Synergies between their gear, which is good for building in choices & options.

Question on the Skull of Sacrifice:

It says crush 300 gp + Sculpture, but later says "Skull reusable"

Can you clarify that the Skull is a permanent item (like the Censer of Sacrifice) and not a consumable ?

EDIT: Ah, I see now. You crush a Sculpture worth 300+ GP. You don't crush the Skull (which I thought was also a sculpture).

Could still use clarification on the token... perhaps worded as "Crush Sculpture worth 300+ GP to heal...."

Nether Dire Flail should start at least at 2.

Nether Short Spear seems to have an amazing damage wheel. I would expect it to be -1 on average.

With so many rare rings, it's almost like there could be a new recipe for Ring of Heroism ...

Robe of the Learned - If we really don't want to increase mental attributes, how about no disadvantage, +2 AC, +1 to hit with ranged attacks?

Bunch of tokens need transmute verbiage.

Lot of Philosopher Stone rares. Don't know if that matters, just an observation.
