+1 Nether Dire Flail - Damage wheel should start at 2

+1 Nether Flail - Damage wheel should probably only go to 9

+1 Nether Knocker - Damage wheel should go to 7

+1 Nether Short Spear - Damage wheel should probably start at 2 and go to 7

Scroll Healing Maze - This could use some clarification. Does the player become mazed after all players have acted and before the monster acts and then return when players act again?

Yes I'd like to see the paints convert to Alchemist's Ink.

I'd like the skull to work with any GP. Perhaps just make it consume 300 GP?

I don't know... you keep the skull... and 300 gp is ~ $1.50... for 5 point healing in a pinch... Is that bad?

I would like healing like this to come in chunks of 10 now... b/c of MEC..

But maybe there will be a future blood-mage gadget that bleed you 5pts... like a transmute made from wands... that creates a more powerful wand, but one that's unstable, and backlashes at the caster for 5 pts...

A different GP to healing ratio maybe?

Just to clarify 300gp is more like $6.00 - to only heal 5 points this is a very high cost. You can get a Potion of Distilled Healing for less (which is 10 points). Gold needs to go down or Remove Curse (or another ability) needs to be added.

Interesting. I know the first draft removed curses as well. I'd originally though that curse removal was the primary purpose of the skull. With the update, I agree with you that the cost is too high.

But for sealed pack runs or folks who don't care about gold, this thing probably works as intended.

Agreed. 300 is too much, regardless of what it does, unless it comes with a happy ending.

You know, auto-kill the room 7 boss. How much happier an ending can there be?

OK the Skull reads : Crush 300 GP plus sculpture to heal self 5 points skull reusable once per room

What sculpture, any? So I have to give up 2 rare gold tokens to get 5 point of heal? No thanks
I liked it better as a remove curse option but now it doesn't do that, which is lame.


IMO strike "plus sculpture" and add "removes curse".
So it would read something like
"Crush 300 GP to remove curse and heal 5 points to self. Skull re-usable once per room.
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!

No, you only give up the sculpture. "300 GP plus sculpture" is one item - a rare sculpture worth 300GP or more. Jeff tried to use "300GP+ Scuplture" as shorthand for "any of the rare Sculpture tokens with a value of at least 300GP" but apparently failed miserably, given the number of people misreading it.

Granted, that's still asking you to give up an item worth twice as much as a Potion of Distilled Healing for half the effect.
