It is a plane shifting ability which Wizards are good at. I think for one scroll like this and only 3 hps (and the character is out 1 round) seems fine. It is 30% of what a typical Cure Moderate Scroll (Rare) would do.

Yes, I'm fine with the Clerics having the flails. I don't have a particular problem even if Jeff wants to use this art, I just thought less pointy weapons might be better. Maybe the Clerics are getting the special depointified version. :)

Ed, you're right. I was against the Barbarian moving to +5 AC armor from the start because the whole point of the Barbarian is low AC and high damage, but I guess that ship has now sailed.

I really like the ink idea, it just makes a ton of sense. The magic paint you use on your face should count as an alchemical liquid, thus ink.

I also like the idea of the skull being usable beyond this year. While the sculptures are a really cool theme for this years gold, I don't like the idea that that theme should limit this rare to virtually this year.

I'd also like to echo the sentiments of others in saying that 300gp is way to high for just 5hp. The expense needs to be lowered. But the amount of Hp seems very fair and not especially room breaking at all, especially since its a standard action.

Echo. Additionally, since it seems to have some magical powers, I would like the skull to count towards a philosopher's stone instead of darkwood plank.

+1 nether dire flail has 1 as the lowest damage on the wheel. I thought the concept was that the +1 damage part of a magic weapon is always built into the wheel so the lowest value maybe should be 2.

On the shoes of skill:

The concept of 'silenced areas' is worrying. It's the kind of thing that can get very annoying (in a not fun way) to the caster classes. The rooms this year that let melee get around the ranged requirement at the loss of a round seemed like a good way to keep people engaged, I'm hoping something similar would exist in silencing rooms in the future.

Agreed, I really dislike effective one off's. This way a player who cracks one in coaching can use this and add it to his build for run/years to follow. Maybe 100GP for 4HP?

I really like to see the robe goto a +2 AC for monks/wizards or even +2AC with upside.

Is the rare crown of treasure finding going to be part of the transmute?
